EMILCE QUEVEDO

Emilce Quevedo Diaz is a Colombian audiovisual producer and director, currently based in Canada, who for the last ten years has focused on projects with an emphasis on social issues, including the sexual abuse of Colombian women in the midst of the armed conflict, the crisis of thousands of persons subject to forced displacement in her country, and the implementation of strategies of distance education in Colombian regions where with limited access to face-to-face options. Emilce graduated in Social Communication with a specialization in Educational Television / Audiovisual Communication from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Emilce Quevedo Diaz es productora y directora audiovisual colombiana, actualmente con sede en Canadá, que durante los últimos diez años se ha centrado en proyectos con énfasis en cuestiones sociales, incluido el abuso sexual de las mujeres colombianas en medio del conflicto armado, la crisis de miles de personas sujetas a desplazamientos forzados en su país y la implementación de estrategias de educación a distancia en las regiones colombianas, donde el acceso limitado a opciones cara a cara. Emilce se graduó en Comunicación Social con una especialización en Televisión Educativa / Comunicación Audiovisual de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
