After being diagnosed with a terminal illness, Claudia decides to take her last trip to Switzerland. There she will be able to decide how and when to end her life thanks to the help of an assisted suicide association. Flavio, who has not left her side in more than forty years, decides to join her on this journey of no return. Violeta, meanwhile, becomes an involuntary mediator between her parents and all that they leave behind, while trying to find her place in this story.

Tras ser diagnosticada con una enfermedad terminal, Claudia decide emprender su último viaje a Suiza. Allí podrá decidir cómo y cuando terminar su vida gracias a la ayuda de una asociación de suicidio asistido. Flavio, que no se ha separado de ella en más de cuarenta años, decide unirse a este viaje sin retorno. Violeta, mientras tanto, se convierte en mediadora involuntaria entre sus padres y todo lo que dejan atrás, al tiempo que intenta encontrar su lugar en esta historia.

Carlos Marques-Marcet

Carlos Marques-Marcet (Barcelona, 1983) left for Los Angeles on a scholarship for his MFA in Film Directing at UCLA. He started his career as an editor until 10.000KM, his directing debut. After its premiere at SXSW, where it won the Special Jury Award, the film was nominated at the EFA Discovery Awards and won the Goya Award for Best New Director. He followed this up with Anchor&Hope (SXSW, Rotterdam, BFI London) and The Days to Come, which premiered in Official Competition at Rotterdam. Outside of film, Marques-Marcet has directed several shows for Spanish platforms such as HBO, Movistar+ and A3Media.

Carlos Marques-Marcet (Barcelona, 1983) se trasladó a Los Ángeles con una beca para su MFA en Dirección deCine en UCLA. Comenzó su carera como un editor hasta que dirigió su debut como director, 10.000KM. Después de su estreno en SXSW, donde ganó el Premió Especial del Jurado, la película fue nominada en los EFA Discovery Awards y ganó el premio Goya en Mejor Director Novel. Posteriormente, dirigió Anchor&Hope (SXSW, Rotterdam, BFI London) y The Days to Come, que se estrenaron en la Competencia Oficial de Rotterdam. Fuera del cine, Marques-Marcet ha dirigido varios programas para plataformas españolas como HBO, Moviestar+ y A3Media.
