Screening followed by Q&A with director Lucia Gajá

Lives on the Edge portrays the tragic consequences of a wrongful conviction handed down by the U.S. criminal justice system. Through several interconnected life stories, we discover what Rosa Estela Olvera, a Mexican woman incarcerated in the U.S. (My Life Inside, 2007), endures in prison: a psycho-emotional exploration of the loneliness of incarceration; and the long and arduous battle to reunite with her family and obtain justice.
