Helena Varvaki
Helena Varvaki is an award-winning Brazilian actress and director whose work spans theater, television, and film. Through a performance-driven approach, she brings depth and emotional nuance to stories centered on human experience. She has appeared in acclaimed series such as Sob Pressão and Todo Dia a Mesma Noite, as well as in multiple feature films. Expanding her work behind the camera, she co-directed A Wolf Among Swans (2025) with Marcos Schechtman.
Helena Varvaki es una actriz y directora brasileña galardonada cuya trayectoria abarca teatro, televisión y cine. A través de una mirada centrada en la interpretación, aporta profundidad y matices emocionales a historias que exploran la experiencia humana. Ha participado en series reconocidas como Sob Pressão y Todo Dia a Mesma Noite, así como en diversos largometrajes. Ampliando su trabajo detrás de cámara, codirigió A Wolf Among Swans (2025) junto a Marcos Schechtman.
Marcos Schechtman
Marcos Schechtman is an Emmy Award–winning filmmaker whose work spans fiction, television, and international production. Through a versatile and globally informed approach, he crafts stories that explore performance, identity, and human ambition. He has held key roles in Brazilian television, including Head of Television Drama at TV Manchete and Unit Director at TV Globo, and has worked across multiple countries. His latest feature, A Wolf Among Swans (2025), co-directed with Helena Varvaki, explores the life of acclaimed ballet dancer Thiago Soares.
