Charles Abelmann

Charles Abelmann is a filmmaker and executive coach whose work explores identity, social change, and human resilience. Through a thoughtful and character-driven approach, he crafts documentaries that reflect on transformation and lived experience. He is the director behind films such as English Hustle, Shifting Paths, and Call Me Waya. Based in Washington, DC, he previously worked at the World Bank and has led both public and private educational institutions. Charles Abelmann es un cineasta y coach ejecutivo cuya obra explora la identidad, el cambio social y la resiliencia humana. A través de una mirada reflexiva y centrada en los personajes, construye documentales que abordan la transformación y la experiencia vivida. Es el director de obras como English Hustle, Shifting Paths y Call Me Waya. Reside en Washington, DC, y anteriormente trabajó en el Banco Mundial y dirigió instituciones educativas públicas y privadas.

J. Agustin Donoso

J. Agustín Donoso is a Chilean filmmaker and academic whose work bridges documentary storytelling and research. Through a reflective and observational approach, he explores culture, history, and diverse human experiences. A professor at Universidad de los Andes and PhD candidate at Universidad de La Sabana, he has directed documentaries on subjects ranging from Pope Francis to Chilean lighthouses, and edited films including Cat City and Call Me Waya. J. Agustín Donoso es un cineasta y académico chileno cuya obra conecta el documental con la investigación. A través de una mirada reflexiva y observacional, explora la cultura, la historia y diversas experiencias humanas. Profesor en la Universidad de los Andes y candidato a doctorado en la Universidad de La Sabana, ha dirigido documentales sobre temas que van desde el Papa Francisco hasta los faros de Chile, y ha editado películas como Cat Cityy Call Me Waya.
