Ambientada en La Habana, la película explora la innovación, la resiliencia y los desafíos de hacer ciencia en un contexto político complejo, ofreciendo una reflexión sobre la esperanza y la salud global.

Daniel Montero

Daniel Montero is a Cuban, U.S. based, filmmaker whose work explores social realities, resilience, and the intersection of science, politics, and everyday life. Through a grounded and observational approach, he crafts intimate narratives that highlight human ingenuity and the collective efforts that emerge in the face of adversity. Daniel is a co-winner of a One World Media Award and a Telly Award for his work on the documentary series The War on Cuba. Daniel Montero Pupo es un cineasta cubano, radicado en Estados Unidos, cuya obra explora las realidades sociales, la resiliencia y la intersección entre la ciencia, la política y la vida cotidiana. A través de una mirada cercana y observacional, construye relatos íntimos que resaltan el ingenio humano y los esfuerzos colectivos que surgen frente a la adversidad. Daniel es co-ganador de un Premio One World Media y de un Premio Telly por su trabajo en la serie documental “The War on Cuba”.
