Teo, 11 years old, works with his father, Luis, on a mysterious machine that seeks to generate a deluge in a city where it doesn’t rain. Luis, obsessed with making it work, puts the machine at risk in the face of constant seizures by the authorities. Teo, seeking to help his father, gets involved with a gang of young spies led by two twin brothers, Raiza and Baca. From this meeting, Teo will question the obsession of his father and will reveal the hidden nature of the machine.

Teo, 11 años, trabaja junto a su padre, Luis, en una misteriosa máquina que busca generar un diluvio en una ciudad donde no llueve. Luis, obsesionado en lograr que funcione, pone en riesgo la máquina ante los constantes embargos de las autoridades. Teo, buscando ayudar a su padre, se involucra con una banda de jóvenes espÃas liderada por dos hermanos mellizos, Raiza y Baca. A partir de este encuentro, Teo, pondrá en duda la obsesión del padre y desvelará la naturaleza oculta de la máquina.

V. Checa directed three fiction short films: Jauregui, Louis Trent and Perform. He has participated in the Locarno Filmmakers Academy and in the Berlinale Talents. His works as a director, screenwriter and producer have been screened at various film festivals and video shows around the world, including: Tallinn Black Nights, Locarno, Montreal, Habana, Málaga and Lima Independiente, as well as at shows of the Peruvian alternative circuit. His debut feature film is The Shape of Things to Come.

V. Checa dirigió tres cortometrajes de ficción: Jauregui, Louis Trent y Perform. Ha participado en el Locarno Filmmakers Academy y en el Berlinale Talents. Sus trabajos como director, guionista y productor han sido proyectados en distintos festivales de cine y muestras de video alrededor del mundo entre los que se encuentran: Tallinn Black Nights, Locarno, Montreal, Habana, Málaga y Lima Independiente, asà como en muestras del circuito alternativo peruano. Su primer largometraje es Tiempos futuros.
