Nineteen-year-old Patricia interviews two friends in their twenties and her mother about their reasons for coming to the U.S. and their experience here. The range of answers she gets leads her to develop a theory about generational difference in the Ecuadorian immigrant experience.

Patricia de 19 años entrevista a dos amigos de veinte años y a su madre acerca de las razones que tuvieron para venir a Estados Unidos y de sus experiencias aquí. La variedad de respuestas la lleva a desarrollar una teoría acerca de las diferencias generacionales en la migración ecuatoriana.

Patricia Torres, born in Ecuador in 1987, is a youth activist for community issues at Make the Road By Walking and is particularly involved in BASTA (environmental and housing advocacy) and NY Vote (motivating registered voters to vote). She is part of New Children-New York film workshop project.

Patricia Torres nació en Ecuador en 1987. Es una joven activista en hechos comunitarios en Make the Road by Walking y también participa en BASTA (grupo ambiental y de vivienda) y NY Vote, para animar a que la gente vote. También es parte del proyecto New Children- New York.
