A thoughtful, evocative portrayal of friendship, love, longing, and the sometimes static nature of life. Combining the powers of observance and understatement, the director renders an emotional tale of three friends who struggle to find meaning in their lives. Berto is an introverted and lonely young man living in a small city in Bolivia, Cochabamba. In order to buy a ticket out of the country, Berto tries to sell his most prized possession - a '65 Volkswagen he inherited from his grandfather. He spends his days cruising around the city with his know-it-all best friend, Victor, thinking up new ways to sell the car. Until Camila, Victor's girlfriend, joins them, shaking up the monotony of their lives.
Una imagen evocativa y reflexiva sobre la amistad, el amor, la añoranza y, también, a veces, sobre la naturaleza estática de la vida. Combinando las fuerzas de la observación y de una modesta proposición de la realidad, el director transmite un emotivo relato sobre la vivencia de tres amigos que se esfuerzan por encontrar el sentido en sus vidas. Berto es un joven introvertido y solitario que vive en Cochabamba, ciudad de Bolivia. Pensando en poder comprar un boleto de viaje para salir de Bolivia, se propone a vender su más preciada posesión – el volkswagen ’65 que heredó de su abuelo. Así, junto con su mejor amigo Víctor ‘El-Sabelotodo’, comienzan dando vueltas por la ciudad para tratar de vender el vehículo. Camila, la enamorada de Víctor, se une a ellos rompiendo así la monotonía de sus esforzados momentos como vendedores.
