A recent immigrant to the United States, 21-year-old Fausto keeps a video diary in which he describes his daily life and talks about his desire to carry on his Ecuadorian cultural traditions in New York.

Recién llegado a Estados Unidos, Fausto de 21 años, tiene un ‘video-diario’ en el que describe su vida diaria y habla de su deseo de mantener las tradiciones culturales como ecuatoriano en Nueva York.

FAUSTO CHADÁN

Fausto Chadán, born in Ecuador in 1985, graduated as chemist-biologist at the Colegio Nacional Quisapincha in Ambato Ecuador. While in college, he disc jockeyed for radio stations Radio Mera and Paz y Bien in his hometown. He came to the U.S. three years ago and works in a furniture factory. He became member of Make the Road by Walking, where he takes English classes and is part of the New Children-New York project.

Fausto Chadán nació en Ecuador en 1985. Se graduó de bioquímico en el Colegio Nacional Quisapincha en Ambato Ecuador, su ciudad natal. Colaboró como presentador en las estaciones de radio Mera y Paz y Bien mientras estudiaba. Vino hace 3 años a NY y trabaja en una fábrica de muebles. Se hizo miembro de Make the Road by Walking, donde toma clases de inglés. También es parte del proyecto New Children- New York.
