THEATER DIRECTIONS The Hostos Center is located at 450 Grand Concourse and 149th Street, at a busy intersection just steps from the subway station and bus stop. By subway, take the #2, 4 or 5 IRT trains to 149th Street and the Grand Concourse. By bus, take the BX1 or BX19 to 149th Street and the Grand Concourse. Travel time from mid-town Manhattan is usually 20 minutes.

Or, take Riverside Drive to 155th Street/Macombs Dam Bridge. Cross bridge to Jerome Avenue and proceed to 165th Street. Turn right onto 165th Street and proceed to Grand Concourse.
Car from Brooklyn:
Take the Triboro Bridge to the Major Deegan. Exit 138th Street and Grand Concourse. Proceed to 165th Street.
Car from Cross Bronx Expressway:
Take #87/New York State Thruway South (Major Deegan). Exit at 161st Street/Yankee Stadium. Make right off exit ramp. Make a left at light and proceed to 165th Street. Turn right onto 165th Street and proceed to Grand Concourse.

Walk south along Steinway Street, turn right on 35 Avenue, proceed 2 1/2 blocks to Museum entrance on 35 Avenue at the corner of 36 Street.

Artlink Bus:
Saturday + Sunday, free shuttle leaving the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan (53 Street, between 5 and 6 Avenue) hourly from 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. to P.S. 1 Contempary Art Center in Long Island City.
Transfer to second bus at P.S. 1 (22-25 Jackson Avenue) to Museum of the Moving Image.

Queens Surface Transit Q101 (departs from 58th Street and Second Avenue round-the-clock every 15 to 30 minutes) to 35 Avenue in Astoria. Walk west on 35 Avenue. The Museum entrance is on 35 Avenue at the corner of 36 Street.
From Flushing:
Queens Surface Transit Q66 "21st Street" to Steinway Street and 35 Avenue. Walk west on 35 Avenue and proceed to the Museum entrance at the corner of 36 Street.
By Car
From Manhattan via Queensboro Bridge:
Lower roadway: Exit onto Northern Boulevard (NY 25A) and follow it to 35 Street, turn left onto 35 Street. Proceed to 35 Avenue and turn right. The Museum entrance is on 35 Avenue at the corner of 36 Street.
Upper roadway: Follow signs to 21 Street. Turn right onto 21 Street and proceed to 35 Avenue. Turn right onto 35 Avenue and proceed to 36 Street.
From Upper Manhattan and the Bronx via the Triborough Bridge:
Exit at 31 Street (first exit in Queens). Turn right onto 31 Street (under the elevated subway) and proceed to 35 Avenue, following signs for the Museum. Turn left onto 35 Avenue and proceed to 36 Street.
From Eastern Queens And Long Island Via Grand Central Parkway:
Exit at Hoyt Avenue, exit #3 (the last exit before the Triborough Bridge) and get into the left lane. Turn left onto 31 Street (under the elevated subway) and proceed to 35 Avenue, following signs for the Museum. Turn left onto 35 Avenue and proceed to 36 Street.
From Westchester And Connecticut Via The Whitestone Bridge:
Follow the Whitestone Expressway to the Grand Central Parkway (Westbound). Exit at Hoyt Avenue, exit #3 (the last exit before the Triborough Bridge) and get into the left lane. Turn left onto 31 Street (under the elevated subway) and proceed to 35 Avenue, following signs for the Museum. Turn left onto 35 Avenue and proceed to 36 Street.
From Northern New Jersey Via The George Washington Bridge:
Harlem River Drive to the Triborough Bridge. Exit at 31 Street (first exit in Queens). Turn right onto 31 Street (under the elevated subway) and proceed to 35 Avenue, following signs for the Museum. Turn left onto 35 Avenue and proceed to 36 Street.
From Brooklyn:
Brooklyn-Queens Expressway West to Northern Boulevard. Exit and go left (west) on Northern Boulevard and proceed to 35 Avenue (which intersects at a 45 degree angle). Turn right onto 35 Avenue and proceed to 36 Street.
From Greenpoint, Brooklyn:
Cross the Pulaski Bridge. Make a right onto Jackson Avenue and continue until it changes into Northern Boulevard. Proceed along Northern Boulevard to 35 Street and turn left. Proceed to 35 Avenue and turn right. The Museum entrance is on 35 Avenue at the corner of 36 Street.
