Panel Shooting in Cuba

In light of the reestablishment of diplomatic ties between Cuba and the US, the dream of many US-based filmmakers is to film in Cuba. Join us for a very special conversation with professionals sharing their experiences while filming on the island. The discussion will feature Bob Yari, director of Papa, the first Hollywood picture filmed in Cuba since 1959; NYC-based Cuban director Asori Soto, who returned to the island to film a road movie honoring Cuban cuisine; and US filmmaker, activist, and educator Catherine Murphy, who has field produced American movies in Cuba.
