Tom Little is a small peasant who wants to get his family out of poverty. A plague of insects that destroys his family’s field of crops and an encounter with the Mirror of the Better Half are the events that mark the beginning of his adventures. The Mirror reveals to Tom Little who is the woman of his dreams and urges him to follow his brothers, Pablo and Pedro, to the city.



Ernesto Padrón  graduated with a degree in Journalism at the University of Havana. He was the director of the kid  magazines Zunzun and Bijirita. In 1981, he directed his first short film Yeyín y la ciudad escondida. In 1993 he directed Los ¿Por qué? , the first animated series of Cuba. Tom Little, his first feature film, and the first Cuban animated film in 3D, premiered in July 2014.
