Vicente Ferraz’s first feature-film I Am Cuba, the Siberian Mammoth, won numerous awards, including Best Documentary in the 33rd Gramado International Film Festival and at the 2005 Guadalajara International Film Festival. It was also the only Brazilian Film at the 2005 Sundance International Film Festival. In 2007 Vicente co-directed The State of the World with six directors from around the world. In 2010 he directed El último comandante.
