Habanastation depicts a view of everyday Cuban life through the eyes of Mayito, a young student and child of a successful jazz musician. When he gets lost during a May Day Celebration, he discovers a new and exciting world, so close, yet so far from his own.

Ian Padrón
Ian Padrón was born in Havana on March 14, 1976. From a young age, he collaborated in a variety of projects including an animated series Filminutos with ICAIC. In 1996, he begun working with ICAIC and produced his first film, Vertical Love.
In 2000, his short Motos was the first time a student produced a 35 mm as his thesis at the Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba en la Facultad de Cine, Radio y TV.
Dreaming in blue is his first fulllength documentary, and it deals with baseball in Cuba.
