Synopsis

On January 8, 1988, when I was 10 years old, my parents went on vacation and left me in the care of my brothers Santiago and Andres. That day I was at a kids party and they were supposed to pick me up. They never came. A year later we discovered that on that day, my brothers had been tortured, assassinated, and taken by the Ecuadorian police, without any reason. Their bodies were disposed of in the Yambo lake. We never found them.

This documentary is a personal journey mixed with the memory of a whole country marked by this history.
