This film tells the tradition of each Wayúu, when born, they are assigned a name that carries the intention of what they have come to do on Earth. Their names were taken from their history. The White Man re-identified them with new degrading names like Chainsaw, Goodyear, Alkaseltzer and Tarzán. Also they were all born on the 31st of December. This document delineates the impact and significance it caused the indigenous lineage when they were forced to give up their names.
