Synopsis

Julio is a Peruvian who comes to Chile looking for a new life. He tries to fit into this new society, looking for work, but his undocumented status restricts his employment options. Only finding jobs that no one else wants to do, he begins to look at the world with disgust.

Director's Bio

Oscar Godoy served as an assistant director on the films Huacho by Alejandro Fernández, Tony Manero by Pablo Larraín, and Nacido y Criado by Pablo Trapero. He directed the short documentary Mariachi Alfa and the series Los años del No-Do. Ulises is his first feature-length film.
