Synopsis
A Spanish film director obsessed with writing a western story sets off to northern Chile in search of inspiration. The adventure begins when the town he visits mistakes him for someone else called Diego. This is the journey of an author becoming the protagonist of his own film.

Director's Bio
Diego Rougier was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1970. In 1992, he became one of the producers of Much Music, an Argentinian music channel. During the following years, he focused his career on directing music videos. In total, he directed around 78 videos for international artists. Between 2007 and 2010 he both wrote and directed shorts such as Demasiado joven, Debut y despedida, Escorbo and Otro domingo, all of them selected in more than 90 film festivals around the world. Since 2008, he has worked as creative director for Megavisión. He also directs the La Colonia series. In theater, he directed Aquí estaba el piloto (2009), La familia ante todo (2010) , and En terapia (2011). Salt is his first feature-length film.
