Synopsis

This is the story of a young boy who does not understand why he cannot play with his best friend, Luisito. His mother’s racial prejudices don’t allow him to interact with other kids. But thanks to a game of questions and answers with his best friend, he discovers they are not so different after all.

Director's Bio

Claudia Lopez was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She graduated with a degree in Advertising from the APEC University. She has worked in different audiovisual areas like casting, production and direction. Her inclination in directing led her to make her first short film Alike that has been awarded in different film festivals in Dominican Republic. Among her works, We are Water is a highlighted documentary on water awareness and is the first place winner in the competition on Water Resources.
