For the first time, the Havana Film Festival New York will award the Havana Star Prize for Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay. 15 films in competition will be screened against each other for the audience and jury panel including prominent players in the film industry Michael Hausman, Sandy Lieberson and Luis Perego.
