This is the story about Rolo who used to be the bodyguard of a famous gangster, but he is too old for the job now. His final mission: recovering the gold hidden by his former boss after the revolution seized power in 1959.

Havana, Cuba. Studied design and graduated from the Instituto Superior de Diseño. For a short time, he worked as a designer. He then began to paint, working with the plastic arts, incorporating video into his work. Those who saw his videos said that Pavel was a “gifted storyteller” and encouraged him to try his hand at cinema. With the money from his graphic design ad work he started making short films. His first work was the short All For Her, which he made with five friends in 2002. This led to the excellent 3x2, which won the prize for best first film at the 2004 Montreal Film Festival. He then directed The Silly Age in 2006. Omerta is his most recent film.
