Arturo is a frugal sixty-year-old taxi driver with less than 24 hours to make a two thousand dollars. He just received an urgent plea call from his son, Ramiro, who ran away to Amsterdam three years ago. On that same day, Leandro, Arturo’s youngest son, plans to steal his father’s money before running away to the coastal nightclubs. When destiny crosses their paths with one another, Arturo will once again become the man that drove Ramiro to run away three years ago.

Fendrick, born in Buenos Aires, 1973, began his career working for Alejandro Agresti as an assistant director. After writing the screenplays for Life in Falcón directed by Jorge Gaggero, and Possible Lives by Sandra Gugliotta; he directed his first feature in 2006, The Muggers. This first feature was selected for Films in Progress II, which competed in Horizontes Latinos at San Sebastian Festival in 2007. With The Blood Appears, he participated in the Cannes Critics’ Week, where he landed the Young Critics Award.

Buenos Aires, 1973. Empezó a trabajar para Alejandro Agresti como asistente de director. Después de haber escrito los guiones para La Vida en Falcón dirigida por Jorge Gaggero, y Las vidas posibles, de Sandra Gugliotta, dirigió su primer largometraje, El Asaltante, seleccionado para Cine en Construcción y después en competencia en Horizontes Latinos en el Festival de San Sebastián en 2007. Con La sangre brota participó en la Semana de la Crítica de Cannes donde ganó el Premio de la Crítica Joven.
