The annual Havana Film Festival New York (HFFNY), internationally recognized as one of New York City’s premier cultural events celebrating Latin American cinema, will take place April 11-17, 2008 with Special Events scheduled from April 10-18. Thursday, April 10th we have scheduled A Havana Night Benefit Gala at the Metropolitan Pavilion 125 West 18th Street, New York City to support the festival and its educational programs. The festivities will include dinner, entertainment and an auction filled with a variety of treasures. We hope you will join us as we toast the 9th edition of HFFNY.

The 9th Havana Film Festival New York is looking for volunteers to work in a variety of positions before and during the festival, which will take place April 11-17. The week-long program of events includes film screenings, numerous premieres, panels moderated by industry leaders, a gala opening event, etc…. The festival is celebrated at various venues throughout the city.
