DRAGONES: DESTINO DE FUEGO / DRAGONS: DESTINY OF FIRE - NY Premiere

John John is a young dragon that was adopted by a family of condors on a Lake Titicaca island. Though his adoptive parents raised him like all their other kids, John John knew deep down inside that he wasn’t a condor. Now a teenager, he’ll discover a truth that will forever change him but leave him with even more questions. The frustrated John John sets off on an adventure leading to his “true” identity and destiny. Along the way, he discovers the importance of kindness and a love for nature, and is reminded of the value of respect, brotherhood and sharing.

John John es un pequeño dragón que fue adoptado por una familia de cóndores que vivía en una isla del lago Titicaca. A pesar que sus padres lo criaban como un hijo más, el pequeño John John sabía en el fondo que no era un cóndor. En su adolescencia, él descubrirá una verdad que lo cambiaría para siempre, pero que lo confundiría aun más. Atormentado por saber quien es, John John emprende un viaje donde encuentra su verdadera identidad y donde encuentra su destino. En este viaje descubre también sentimientos como el cariño, amor por la naturaleza y reafirma otros como el respeto, entrega y confraternidad.

Eduardo Schuldt worked as a storyboard designer in advertising at an early age. Pacific Pirates was his first film as well as the first 3D animation in Latin America. It became an instant hit in Peru and Argentina. He was also awarded as best Peruvian Director by readers of El Comercio, the most important newspaper in Peru. His second film, Dragones Destino de Fuego, released by Alpamayo Films, was also a box office success.

Pionero de la animación en el Perú, Schuldt trabajó en publicidad haciendo storyboards animados desde que tenía veinte años. Por su primera película y la primera en 3D de Latinoamérica, Piratas en el Callao, estrenada en el 2005, obtuvo el título al Mejor Director Peruano del Año entregado por los lectores del periódico más importante del Perú, El Comercio. Su segundo largometraje, Dragones: Destino de Fuego también fue éxito de taquilla instantáneo.
