Three children mysteriously vanish from a peaceful Puerto Rican town. Georgie, Walter and Elenita live an incredible adventure that takes them away from their home on the beautiful Island coast and into the mountains, until they reach the dangerous depths of a lost city. Only their innocence, their father’s protective spirit, and the kindness of the unfortunate they meet along the way, will lead them to the home they thought they’d never return to. Filmed in the lovely natural scenery of Maunabo, Puerto Rico, and the harshness of the city, Angeles Perdidos captures the magic that surrounds us in our daily life and the feeling of hope that should always guide us.

Puerto Rican-born Raúl Marchand Sánchez graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is the author of Sueños Líquidos, a documentary about the Mexican rock band Maná, and La Bruja, awarded in San Juan Cinemafest. He wrote and directed his first feature film, 12 Horas which was awarded the Audience Choice Award in the Chicago Latino International Film Festival and a Special Mention as Best Narrative and Best New Director in the Tribeca Film Festival. His second film Atraco a las 3... y media was nominated for the Goya Award, in the Best Audio category. With Bala Perdida, he received the Best Editing Award in the Guatemalan Festival Ícaro. He shares editing credits with David Tedeschi in Leon Ichaso’s film El Cantante.

Nacido en Puerto Rico, es graduado de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Wisconsin. Autor de los documentales Sueños líquidos, sobre el grupo de rock Maná y de La bruja, premiado en varios festivales. Debuta en el cine de ficción con 12 horas, premio del público en el Festival Latino de Chicago y mención especial de guión y dirección en el Tribeca Film Festival. Su segundo filme, Atraco a las 3... y media fue nominada al Goya en la categoría de Mejor Sonido. Bala perdida, fue ganadora a Mejor Edición en el Festival Ícaro de Guatemala. Comparte créditos de editor con David Tedeschi la cinta El cantante dirigida por Leon Ichaso.
